Nov. 2023: At present my practice is full and I don't expect to have availability for new clients until the New Year.

I'm Rachel Wood and I offer psychotherapy in North Cornwall and Plymouth. I have an MA in Psychotherapy and I'm accredited by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy..

Life is rarely straightforward and it's not always easy to work things out on your own. Psychotherapy offers the opportunity to slow down and take a bit of time to look at what's happening. From there we can start to develop an awareness of how we think, feel, and respond to relationships and the situations we find ourselves in.

Sometimes past circumstances can come to determine how we deal with things in the present. Psychotherapy aims to help us identify patterns and choose what to change. Working through issues in this way can create more choices in how we respond to others and the circumstances of our lives.
