I’m a psychotherapist with an MA in Psychotherapy and four years of training in Mindfulness-Based Core Process Psychotherapy at the Karuna Institute. I’m accredited by the UKCP, a registered member of the BACP, and a qualified EMDR practitioner.

Alongside my clinical work, I teach counselling and psychotherapy students, and I support my practice through regular clinical supervision and ongoing continuing professional development (CPD). I’m currently undertaking a Diploma in Contemplative Supervision with Karuna Dartmoor.

Before moving into private practice, I worked in academic research exploring psychosocial development and the kinds of experiences that can disrupt or distort a sense of self. My work alongside university mental health services deepened my interest in supporting neurodivergent people. I’ve also trained as an end-of-life doula (sometimes called soul-midwifery), which continues to inform how I think about care, meaning, and the realities of change and loss. I’m interested too in how connection with nature can be a resource in therapy— helping us to slow down, steady, and reconnect.

In our work together, I aim to offer a calm, thoughtful space where we can make sense of what’s happening in your life and find ways forward that feel grounded and workable. My approach is mindfulness-based and relational, which means we pay attention not only to what’s difficult, but also to what’s happening in your body, your emotions, and your relationships—at a pace that feels safe for you.

People come to therapy for many reasons. Sometimes it’s in response to something specific—a loss, a change, a difficult experience, or relationship difficulties. At other times, it’s less clear: you may feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply aware that you need some help to work things out. Whatever brings you, we’ll start from where you are.
