Supervision: I’m currently offering reduced-fee supervision for qualified practitioners, in person and online. For details, please see Supervision above.

I’m Rachel Wood, a psychotherapist offering sessions in Exeter and online. I hold an MA in Psychotherapy, I’m accredited by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and I’m registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Life can be complicated, and it isn’t always easy to make sense of things on your own. Therapy can offer a steady, supportive space to slow down and reflect on what’s happening—at your pace, and without judgement. Together we can explore what you’re experiencing, how patterns may have formed over time, and what you’d like to shift. The aim is to help you feel clearer, more grounded, and better able to make choices in your life and relationships.

People come to therapy for many reasons. You might be facing something specific, or you may just have a sense that something isn’t quite working and you’d like support to understand it. Some of the areas people often look for help with include:

  • Anxiety & depression

  • Grief and loss

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Sexuality and gender identity

  • Stress and burnout

  • Navigating neurodiversity

  • Strong or difficult feelings, such as anger, sadness, or overwhelm

  • A sense that there should be more to life, or a feeling of disconnection

I offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore what matters to you, at a pace that feels manageable.

Sessions are available in Exeter and online. My practice is fully insured and GDPR compliant, and I work in line with UKCP ethical frameworks.
